Lakulish Yoga University (LYU), established in 2013, is a unique private university located in Chharodi, Ahmedabad, opposite Nirma University. It is India’s first university devoted entirely to Yoga education, research, and training, combining ancient yogic wisdom with modern scientific approaches.
Named after Lord Lakulish, the 28th incarnation of Lord Shiva and the propounder of Yoga, the university aims to preserve and propagate authentic yogic traditions. Its academic structure includes programs such as B.Sc., M.Sc., PG Diplomas, and Ph.D. in Yoga Education.
