NEET UG is the sole entrance examination in India for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, and other undergraduate medical and dental courses in government and private institutions. It is a highly competitive national-level test with millions of aspirants annually.
Age: Minimum 17 years as of December 31 of the admission year
Education: Passed or appearing in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English
Minimum marks: 50% for General, 40% for SC/ST/OBC, 45% for PwD (in PCB subjects)
Nationality: Indian Nationals, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs, and Foreign Nationals are eligible
Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany + Zoology)
Total questions: 200 (180 to be attempted: 45 in each section)

Section Format: Each subject has 2 sections – Section A (35 Qs), Section B (15 Qs; attempt any 10)
