Full Name: Common Law Admission Test
CLAT is a national-level entrance exam conducted for admission to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programs offered by 24 National Law Universities (NLUs) in India. It is also accepted by many private and self-financed law colleges across the country.
For UG Program (LLB):
Passed 10+2 or equivalent with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST)
No upper age limit
Candidates appearing in 10+2 can also apply
For PG Program (LLM):
LL.B. or equivalent degree with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST)
